GAMA has announced the promotions of Walter Derosier and Ron Swanda to key positions. Derosier stepped up to the position of vice president, engineering and maintenance.He has been with GAMA for seven years, serves on numerous FAA rulemaking committees, and is chair of the Part 135 airworthiness rulemaking committee. Swanda, a 20-year GAMA employee, was promoted to senior vice president, operations.
William Prescott joined Atlantic Aero as sales manager. He was most recently service sales manager at West Star Aviation. Previously Prescott worked for AlliedSignal Aerospace and Raytheon Aircraft.
Atlantic Aero also brings Steve Kluk on board to lead the expansion of the company's interior finishing capabilities with the addition of a new cabinetry division. Most recently Kluk was supervisor for Ozark Aircraft Systems
Bombardier Business Aviation Services appointed Rob Mauracher to the position of general manager of the Tucson Service Center. Mauracher joined Bombardier Aerospace in 2002 and holds an airframe and powerplant mechanic certificate.
Craig Zysk is the new director—program development and customer support for Keystone Helicopter's helicopter services division. Zysk was most recently with International Aviation Composites and prior to that logged almost 20 years with Sikorsky Aircraft.
Stephen Friedrich was appointed director of business development, corporate aircraft for Rolls-Royce. Friedrich has been with Rolls Royce since 2001.
Palwaukee Service Center added three managers. Tom Wyman is manager of the avionics service department. Wyman was previously with Canadair, Dassault Falcon, and KC Aviation. Peter Gioviano starts as project manager, and Bob Lavallee is services manager.
