Texas Aviation Services appointed Michael Bashlor as president. Bashlor was previously vice president-operations and director of maintenance for Rotorcraft Leasing L.L.C.
US Airways Senior VP of Technical Operations Hal Heule has announced plans to retire in September. David Seymour, the company’s VP of technical services, will take over Heule’s role in oversight of maintenance production, including line maintenance and base maintenance.
Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey has a new chief executive officer. Mark Johnson has taken over the management of the Lufthansa Technik subsidiary effective July 1, 2008.
Kansas State University at Salina has named Kirk Demuth director of the Unmanned Aerial Systems Program Office. The UAS Program Office is the first major initiative of K-State Aviation’s recently formed Applied Aviation Research Center.
