AMES Delivers its First Repaired Thrust Reverser

Having recently been EASA Part 145 certified, AMES has already received its first order for repairing a complete thrust reverser. The joint venture between Aircelle (Safran group) and Air France Industries KLM E&M has taken this step which will help establish their position in the market for the maintenance and repair of nacelles in the Middle East. "We chose AMES because besides being an EASA Part 145 approved organisation, it has the required expertise to meet our requirements and has combined the reputation and know-how of a recognised MRO in AFI KLM E&M, and the technological expertise of an OEM, in Aircelle” said Jamal Hashim, Gulf Air director of engineering and airworthiness.
