About People

Steve Grewing is the new director of maintenance for Executive Beechcraft’s facility at Kansas City Downtown Airport (MKC). He formerly worked as a service team manager for General Dynamics Aviation in Dallas, Texas. Grewing replaces Paul Foster, who became director of maintenance at MKC in 1983.

Alpharetta, Ga.-based Flight Display Systems has named Chris Cayia operations manager and Hillary Davis ® production coordinator. Cayia previously worked as a superintendent for JHC Corp. in Peachtree City, Ga. Davis comes from Miura Boiler, where she was a sales and service assistant.

The Nordam Group has appointed Greg Thomas as general manager and Steve Pearson as managing director of sales, marketing and support services for its Singapore unit. Thomas was previously director of supply chain services for the company’s repair division in Tulsa, Okla. and Pearson formerly served as an account manager and technical support specialist.

HK Systems has promoted Michael Gonzalez to CEO. He will also continue his roles as president and COO of the company. Gonzalez will also become a member of HK Systems’ board of directors.

Andrew Woodworth has joined BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul as a regional sales manager for Australasia. He comes from GE Aviation Systems in Australia, where he was turboprop and rotorcraft account manager.

Ron Kato is the new vice president of global sourcing and manufacturing for Crane Aerospace & Electronics. He will be responsible for operations at the company’s aerospace group sites in Burbank, Calif., Elyria, Ohio, Lynwood, Wash. and Lyon, France. Kato was formerly vice president and general manager of Crane’s Burbank location.
