About People

Gulfstream has promoted Jerry Fish to manager of its NetJets program. He will oversee maintenance services on G200, G450/400 and GV/G550 aircraft. Fish, who has worked as a Gulfstream mechanic and inspector for 18 years, was previously G200 maintenance coordinator for the NetJets program.

Snecma and GE joint company CFL International has named Chaker Chahrour executive VP. He will take over for Bill Clapper, who is retiring in 2009. Chahrour formerly served as head of sales and pole executive for GE Aviation Asia Pacific in Singapore.

Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings has appointed Johnny Tolbert as aerospace commercial account executive. Tolbert comes from HSH Interplan’s Aircraft Interior Coatings division, where he was a business development engineer.

Bridgewater, N.J.-based DSPCon’s board of directors has elected Jon S. Ogg as its newest member. Ogg, who is director of engineering and technical management for Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, previously served a 10-year stint as chief engineer for the F-22 program.

Dr. David Bailey is the new senior director and chief engineer for Crane Aerospace & Electronics’ Boeing 787 program. He was formerly technology director for Crane, joining the company after serving as head of engineering for Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems.
