John J. Goglia, former member of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the first NTSB board member to hold an FAA aircraft mechanic's certificate and current senior vice president for the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association, recently received the Airline Transport Associations Nuts and Bolts Award. The award is given to those who have succeeded in improving the system or component processes related to engineering, maintenance, or materiel management.
