New Torque Tester Accommodates Any Wrench

Norbar Torque Tools has introduced the Torque Tool Tester Series 3 (TTT3) with transducer inputs to accommodate torque wrenches of all sizes. Selecting a transducer is done by a quick rotation of a switch, whereupon, torque capacity of the selected transducer is confirmed on-screen. The tester operates in all common torque measurement units. The number of target limit values that can be set has been increased to 12. The unit gives a clear visual signal as to whether the measured process is within tolerance. The low, high, or pass signal can also be output via RS-232, PC, or printer. The control panel uses diagrams of various types of torque tools. The operator presses the button corresponding to the tool under test. New Women’s Work Shoe by Timberland

Timberland has designed a new hiking inspired work shoe just for women. The shoe is cut low for those not requiring a full work boot and it is lighter than a full work boot. The shoe has a wide flanged, tempered steel toe cap for safety and is made of leather and mesh for both durability and breathability. It meets ANSI 175/C75 Z41 PT99 05 and ASTM F2412-05 and F2413-05 safety standards. The shoe fits well with a generous toe box and padding for extra comfort. Tool Specialists Offers Unique Drill

Tool Specialists of Hollywood, Florida has designed a unique pneumatic, 90 degree right angle drill. The drill uses a standard cobalt or H. S. M-2 screw machine length drills and jobbers length drills, not the threaded shank drill bits currently in use. The drill has three flexible collets and can accommodate a range of sizes from .039 to .250, which covers most drill sizes required in aircraft maintenance and manufacture and doesn’t need an adapter.
