Elbit Systems has received necessary government approval to acquire Universal Avionics Systems Corporation. Universal Avionics will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Elbit after the acquisition, which the parties said they expect to conclude in the coming weeks.
Israeli defense company Elbit specializes in C4ISR and unmanned technology, notably supplying head-up displays for the U.S. military. Universal Avionics is based in Arizona and develops CNS technology such as FANS and flight management systems.
