Those who use Japan-based ANA Systems solutions are set to have an IBS Software-infused experience. The two companies have entered into a five-year strategic partnership, IBS said, as a result of ANA System’s Global Delivery Model program to globalize its business and information technology processes.

The two parties have been working together for some 10 years. But the new agreement provides ANA Systems access to IBS’ talent pool of professionals from around the world who possess airline industry knowledge and technology expertise. IBS is also to participate in ANA System’s technology information initiatives, focusing on innovation, digitization and quality. IBS said it would work as an extension of the ANA Systems team, providing scalability and flexibility in a cost effective manner, using its proven extended software delivery facility (ESDF) model. The partnership is to also focus on cloud computing, analytics and mobility to support digitizing airlines.

“[ANA Systems] faces the challenge of changing to the global environment and cost-effective productivity for further growth of ANA group,” said Masafumi Shingo, president of ANA Systems. “IBS as ASY’s Global Delivery Model partner, we look forward to producing synergy effects by combining IBS’ rich talent pool with airline industry know-how and [ANA Systems’] high quality standards. As a result, [ANA Systems] will have global competitiveness and lead to further growth.”
