HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) Ltd. has become an authorized Panasonic Avionics repair center, the China-based company said. It can now service Panasonic in-flight entertainment and communications (IFEC) technology.

“HAECO has a proven track record serving the component repair needs of airlines in the Asia Pacific region,” said Clement Au, general manager of component repair and overhaul for HAECO Group. “Combining the respective strengths of both an OEM and a component repair specialist, this collaboration is mutually beneficial. It further extends the HAECO Group’s portfolio of services to include a wide range of Panasonic IFEC products, chosen by many airline operators in Mainland China.”

The new Panasonic-authorized repair center also has approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAA), the FAA and EASA. It is equipped with original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-dedicated test equipment. It has spares support from Panasonic, and is staffed by Panasonic-trained technical personnel.

As part of HAECO Group, HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) offers technical and logics supports, as well as OEM warranty administration to airlines and aircraft operators in Mainland China.
