[Avionics Today 09-22-2016] Textron subsidiary TRU Simulation + Training is now able to offer participants in its ProFlight pilot training program for King Air 350 the option to train at home through its FAA-approved distance learning option for BE-300 recurrent training. The distance learning option enables the customer to receive 100 percent of their aircraft systems training online, allowing the customer to focus time spent at the training center toward simulator training scenarios.
TRU’s ProFlight pilot training offering for the new production Beechcraft turboprop includes an initial type-rating course, an introduction course on the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics package, and a recurrent training program as well as a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 135 training program.
