[Avionics Today 08-16-2016] Aeromexico is adding live television to its fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft through Panasonic Avionics’ eXTV service. The new service will initially offer two channels: Sport 24 and CNN International. The service will be available to passengers from both the seatback in-flight entertainment and communications system and on their own personal electronic devices.

The deal is similar to last week’s announcement that Panasonic Avionics will equip Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787 fleet with live TV.

Aeromexico will begin rolling out the service in August in four Boeing 787-8, and expects to have it soon on its entire fleet of nine Dreamliners.
