[Avionics Today 05-05-2016] Delta Air Lines has increased its commitment to Gogo’s satellite-based 2Ku In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) technology to more than 600 aircraft from 250 aircraft committed last year. The space-based solution went live on its first aircraft for Aeromexico’s fleet just last month.
2Ku installations have already started on the 737-800 and A319 fleets, and Delta will retrofit additional fleets with the new system. The airline will operate more than 35 aircraft with 2Ku by the end of 2016.
