[Avionics Today 04-22-2016] Embedded software company Lynx Software Technologies and Vector Software, a provider of dynamic software testing solutions for embedded systems, announced the companies are integrating the LynxOS family of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and the VectorCAST test automation platform. VectorCAST now supports the dynamic testing of mission-critical LynxOS applications, including those deployed on LynxOS-178, the only RTOS to be awarded a Reusable Software Component (RSC) by the FAA.
The partnership between Lynx and Vector Software aims to minimize customers’ development effort and risk by providing a streamlined path for creating any further artifacts they may need.
