[Avionics Today 02-03-2016] The U.S. Air Force has awarded Associated Aircraft Manufacturing and Sales (AAMSI) a prime contract to service and repair the AN/APX-110 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) transponder on the B-2 Spirit Bomber. The five-year contract to service the IFF system for the B-2 is the first prime contract with the U.S. Air Force for AAMSI, an aerospace manufacturing, repair and logistics provider for military avionics and structural components.

AAMSI is licensed by Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman Corporation to design, manufacture and/or repair a number of legacy electronic systems across a wide variety of military platforms and is also licensed to manufacture hundreds of F-15, F/A-18 and other military aircraft landing gear and structural airframe parts.
