[Avionics Today 12-28-2015] Transport Canada, the U.S. FAA and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) have awarded Interim Level C qualification on the CAE-built Full-Flight Simulator (FFS) and qualified the Flight Training Device (FTD) for Bombardier’s newly certified C Series CS100 aircraft.

Officials from each of the authorities granted their respective qualifications following final inspection of the simulator and training device located at Bombardier’s training center in Montreal. The CS100 aircraft is scheduled for first delivery and entry-into-service with launch customer Swiss International Air Lines in the second quarter of 2016.
