[Avionics Today 12-09-2015] Kyocera has introduced three new Thin-Film-Transistor Liquid-Crystal Display (TFT-LCD) with Projected Capacitive (PCAP) touchscreens designed to optimize the user interface in a wide variety of industrial applications. Popularized by consumer devices, such as smartphones, PCAP technology is now migrating to industrial applications, including, manufacturing and avionics markets.
Kyocera will initially offer the PCAP touch solution on its most popular display sizes, including 7-inch, 10.4-inch and 12.1-inch.
