JAL Alters Fleet Plans to Adjust for Demand

[Avionics Today 08-19-2015] JAL Group (JAL) has revised its flight frequency and fleet plans on both international and domestic routes for fiscal year 2015.

Regarding the airline’s international network, JAL will introduce JAL Sky Suite 777 aircraft on the Tokyo Narita to Sydney route and the Narita to Jakarta route from the end of October in response to the growing demand. Additionally the airline will operate its 787 aircraft on Narita to Moscow route from February 2016.

As for the airline’s domestic network, JAL will adjust its flight frequency plan on select Japan-domestic routes in response to the seasonal demand primarily to and from Tokyo Haneda.
