[Avionics Today 04-01-2015] Remotec, a Tennessee-based Northrop Grumman subsidiary, has a new distribution agreement with AirRobot U.S. for its line of small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Under the agreement, Remotec will be the sole reseller of the UAS to the first responder and law enforcement market in the United States.

The companies are also working to integrate Remotec’s Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and AirRobot’s aerial systems to create new ground/air capabilities that aim to meet a wide range of operational requirements. As part of the agreement, which commenced earlier this month, Remotec also will provide service, maintenance and technical support for all AirRobot systems in the U.S.
