HondaJet Installs First Flight Simulator

[Avionics Today 02-26-2015] Honda Aircraft is currently installing the first HondaJet flight simulator at the manufacturer’s headquarters in Greensboro, N.C. Honda developed the full motion Level D simulator in partnership with FlightSafety International. The simulator is capable of replicating the realistic flight characteristics of the HondaJet and will be certified to meet FAA and EASA regulations.

“The HondaJet flight simulator will be an invaluable training tool in preparing pilots to operate the world’s most advanced light jet. It is part of a customized training program that will use the latest technologies to create a learning experience that is engaging and real to life,” said Honda Aircraft President and CEO Michimasa Fujino.
