[Avionics Today 02-20-2015] C&L Aerospace (C&L) has entered into a strategic alliance with Heroux-Devtek U.K. (formerly APPH Ltd) to enhance the global Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services and support available to operators of all variants of the Saab 340 aircraft family. Saab 340 aircraft were built between 1983 and 1999, and maintenance operations are critical to keeping the them in the air.

This new alliance will combine Heroux-Devtek’s experience as a landing gear designer and manufacturer with C&L’s operator and aircraft service provider capability. It will further enhance the worldwide support of the landing gear that is already available via Saab in Sweden, as well as REX and ACS in the Australasia market, while upping the company’s exposer to the aftermarket business.
