Parker, Emirates Sign New Maintenance Agreement

[Avionics Today 02-03-2015] Parker Aerospace has signed a new agreement with Emirates Airlines to provide aircraft maintenance and engine support for its fleet of Boeing 777s and Airbus A330s/A340s. Under the new agreement, Parker Aerospace will provide guaranteed repair turnaround times, access to regional component inventory pools and local support teams at the Emirates hub and various outstations.

“Emirates’ fleet of modern, wide-body aircraft operate 24/7 across the globe, spanning the Americas to Japan and in environments ranging from polar temperatures to arid deserts. We need our aircraft to be in top condition and having a trusted partner who can support our rigorous [Maintenance Repair and Overhaul] MRO program,” said Iain Lachlan, senior vice president of engineering at Emirates.
