Gulfstream Granted Part 145 Approval for Brazilian Facility

[Avionics Today 01-23-2015] Gulfstream Aerospace’s service center in Sorocaba, Brazil, received Part 145 approval from the FAA, allowing Gulfstream Brazil technicians to perform maintenance on most U.S.-registered Gulfstream aircraft models.

The FAA approval covers the following Gulfstream aircraft: G5 series, including G550; G4 series, including G450; G200, G150, G100 and G3. Approval for the G650 and G280 is expected later in 2015.

“Many of our U.S.-based customers travel to Brazil to conduct business,” said Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream Product Support. “We are pleased to add to our service capabilities to meet their needs.”
