[Avionics Today 11-19-2014] Eurocontrol and the European Defence Agency (EDA) have signed a joint work agreement in the domain of the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) program for the coming two years. It provides a more detailed view on the contributions from both organizations and outcomes to be achieved within this framework. A first key step will be to ensure that military views are fully taken into account in related work on Single European Sky development.

“By working together with the European Defence Agency through a joint work program, we are making sure that the military perspective will be fully understood and taken on board,” said Frank Brenner, director general of Eurocontrol.
