[Avionics Today 11-11-2014] Embraer has released its 2014 third quarter results in which revenues totaled more than $1.2 billion for a year-over-year decline of 3.8 percent. Lesser revenues were a result of lower aircraft deliveries in the third quarter, with Embraer delivering 19 commercial and 15 executive (all light) jets, as opposed to 19 commercial and 25 executive aircraft in the same period last year.

It wasn’t all bad news, however; the company ended the quarter with a backlog of $22.1 billion, an all-time company record. And year-to-date revenues in the first nine months of 2014 totaled more than $4.2 billion, representing a year-over-year growth of 7.9 percent.
