Vistara, Airbus Sign FHS-TSP Agreement

[Avionics Today 11-06-2014] Vistara, a newly launched joint venture airline between Singapore Airlines and Tata Sons based in New Delhi, has signed a long term Flight Hour Services Tailored Support Package (FHS-TSP) agreement with Airbus. Under the agreement, Airbus will provide integrated component supply and repair as well as full airframe maintenance and engineering service to Vistara.
 
 
According to Airbus, the FHS-TSP service will begin this year with the entry into service of Vistara’s leased A320 fleet. Airbus now has FHS agreements covering more than 150 aircraft with operators of A320s, A330s and A380s.
 
 

"Having the aircraft manufacturer supporting our aircraft inventory, maintenance and engineering indeed for us is the most comprehensive solution for our operational readiness from day one," said Rajender Singh, senior vice president of engineering at Vistara.Airbus now has FHS agreements covering more than 150 aircraft with operators of A320s, A330s and A380s.
