[Avionics Today 11-05-2014] F&E Aircraft Maintenance (FEAM), a Miami-based Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) company received approval from the Japan Civil Aeronautics Bureau (JCAB) to perform line maintenance and return to service on Japanese-registered aircraft.

Currently, the approval allows FEAM to maintain and release Boeing B747-400F and B747-8 aircraft, with future aircraft types to follow. FEAM is the first MRO in the U.S. to gain this certification by the JCAB.
