DynCorp International Awarded $443 Million NAVAIR Contract

[Avionics Today 10-27-2014] DynCorp International has been awarded a contract from the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to provide aircraft maintenance and logistics support to the Chief of Naval Air Training. The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery contract has one base year with four one-year options with a total potential value of $443.3 million.

Work will be performed at the Naval Air Stations in Corpus Christi, Texas, Whiting Field, Fla., the Pensacola, Fla. and additional locations within the continental United States. DynCorp team members will provide organizational, intermediate, depot-level maintenance and logistics services for T-34, T-44 and T-6 aircraft. Support services include labor, services, facilities, equipment, tools, related support equipment and direct and indirect material.
