[Avionics Today 10-20-2014] Cessna’s latest midsize business aircraft, the Citation Latitude, is making its public debut at NBAA 2014. The aircraft on display is one of four Latitudes currently flying in the company’s certification flight test program, which has logged more than 600 flight hours on 260 flights.

The Citation Latitude has a maximum operating altitude of 45,000 feet and capacity for up to nine passengers. In the cockpit, the Latitude features the Garmin G5000 avionics package and in the cabin the Clarity In-flight Connectivity (IFC) system.

Cessna expects type certification from the FAA by the second quarter of 2015.
