[Avionics Today 09-10-2014] Cathay Pacific Airways has selected an Astro-Med airborne printer for its eEnabled Aircraft program. The NP4840 network printer will occupy a small footprint as the optional printer component in the airline’s eEnabled Aircraft system.

According to a statement released by the Rhode Island-based military and commercial airborne printer provider, the eEnabled program streamlines and integrates communications management among flight operations, data communication services, cabin services, maintenance, diagnostics and vital safety information.
