[Avionics Today 08-12-2014] Star Navigation Systems Group’s Man Machine Interface Division (STAR-MMI) is seeing an increase in orders for display upgrades from major global aerospace companies. The Toronto-based avionics manufacturer announced orders from two new customers that wish to remain unnamed—one a major Fortune 100 Aerospace Company and the other an undisclosed overseas customer.
The new orders more than double the $200,000 value of orders for defense activities announced in June of this year to over $430,000. This jump in orders comes in just the first four months of Star-MMI’s inception, which was set up in April 2014 following the company’s purchase of Luxell Quebec Technologies.
