[Avionics Today April 24, 2014] Universal Avionics is looking to grow its business within the emerging Latin American business aviation market.

The Tucson, Ariz.-based avionics manufacturer announced the appointment of Corey Wilkinson to its newly created position of sales manager for Latin America.  Wilkinson, formerly of L-3 Communications and Monarch Aviation, will focus on "developing the business aviation market for the company in Latin America, including Mexico," Universal said.

"This milestone establishes the importance of Universal’s commitment in the development and support of this emergent market,” said Robert Clare, director of sales for Universal Avionics. “Corey’s extensive aviation experience, as well as his familiarity with the Latin America region, will greatly benefit his execution of the company’s vision,”
