Virgin America is adding the eeCrewConnect Crew Member notifications platform from 2e Systems, following a new agreement from the two companies.
The system provides flight deck notifications to the flight crew regarding changes in their schedule. Coupled with the eeManager tool, the system will enable crew schedulers with the capability to manage all notifications processed by the system with the Escalation Management module.
"We look forward to implementing the platform provided by 2e Systems as it will support us in managing one-to-one communication with crews, something that is especially important when our operation is challenged by inclement weather and airport closures," said Kevin Burlan, director of crew resources for Virgin America.
