The Latitude is the first flight-tested aircraft with flaps, landing gear, pressurization systems and anti-icing capabilities. During the first flight the aircraft flew at 28,000 feet and attained speeds of 230 mph (Mach 0.6).

Cessna Senior Flight Test Pilot Aaron Tobias said the aircraft performed “as expected” during its first flight, also calling the Latitude’s Garmin G5000 avionics an “enormous leap forward in flight management.”
