LOT Polish Airlines has begun allowing its passengers to use their Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) during all phases of flight.

The Polish carrier’s decision was influenced by the European Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) recent announcement that the use of electronics does not impact aircraft onboard systems. LOT passengers can now use their phones, tablets and laptops during takeoffs and landings as well.

The airline’s decision comes following the FAA’s recent announcement to allow the expanded use of PEDs on U.S. commercial airliner flights.
