Northrop Grumman Provides Military Navigation Systems

The U.S. Air Force issued a purchase and sustainment contract to Northrop Grumman potentially worth $200 million for its suite of Embedded Global Positioning/Internal Navigation Systems (EGI). 
 
Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will make the systems available for the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy aircraft through 2018. The systems will also be available for international customers such as Iraq and Thailand under foreign military sales. 
 
Northrop’s LN-260 and LN-251 systems will be available under the contract.
