EA100 Autopilot Approved for Century IIB, III and IV

Aspen Avionics on Monday; Dec. 16 announced its EA100 autopilot adapter has received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for compatibility with all attitude-based Century IIB, II and IV autopilots. 
 
The Albuquerque, New Mexico-based company said the EA100 is also now capable of emulating the Century 52D66, 52D67, 52D166 and 52D167 attitude indicators. 
 

“The EA100 provides superior digital attitude information and extends the life of legacy autopilot systems,” said Mark Ferrari, vice president of sales and customer support. “This integration will greatly increase the utility of the Aspen customer’s avionics investment far into the future.”
