The Calgary Airport Authority is extending its existing contract with ARINC for on-site passenger and baggage systems support through 2022.

Under the new agreement, ARINC will update its vMUSE, BagLink, Common Use Self Service (CUSS) and Local Departure Control System (L-DCS) systems currently deployed at Calgary International Airport (YYC). The systems will be extended into the airport’s new international terminal, which is scheduled to go into operation by 2015, nearly doubling the size of the airport’s facilities.

“Calgary has been an ARINC customer for the past 10 years and we are looking forward to the next 10 years,” said Paul Lawrence, director of information technologies and telecommunications at YYC. “Using the ARINC platform is helping us meet our goal of providing our customers with the most positive travel experience possible.”
