Air India has gone live with a cloud-based maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) fleet management software to maintain its fleet of more than 125 Boeing and Airbus aircraft. The software is delivered by India-based Ramco Aviation, and is compatible with tablets and other cloud-based computer hardware.

The Air India management team said the Ramco Aviation Suite meets all of its “elaborate functional requirements” and believes the system will lead to increased productivity by optimizing its engineering process.

“We have been investing in building the latest functionality into the product by enhancing the user experience and delivering it on Cloud, Mobile and iPad,” said Virender Aggarwal, CEO of Ramco Systems. “Today, Ramco Aviation Suite maintains over 60+ leading aircraft models for customers around the globe. This has given the product a unique depth and functionality to address every segment of the Aviation Industry-from single jet owners to large MROs.”
