LAN Airlines and IFE Services have signed a new agreement to keep the UK-based in-flight entertainment (IFE) provider as the South American airline’s IFE service provider.

LAN originally selected IFE Services as its in-flight entertainment provider in 2007, and the new agreement covers the provision of IFE content across its fleet of wide and narrow body aircraft, the company said. IFE will also manage digital encoding and audio visual on-demand (AVOD) content for LAN.

“We’re immensely proud to be chosen again by LAN Airlines as its in-flight entertainment supplier,” said Andy McEwan, CEO of IFE Services. “Having been LAN’s content service provider for some years now, we are ideally placed to further establish their IFE offering as one of the very best in the industry.”
