Esterline CMC Electronics’ SureSight CMA-2700 Integrated Sensor System was certified by Transport Canada (TCCA), FAA and EASA as an Enhanced Vision System (EVS) for head-up display on Bombardier Global 5000 and Global 6000 equipped with the Bombardier Vision Flight Deck.

"These certifications confirm the innovative technology and winning combination of capability, availability and performance of our SureSight CMA-2700 infrared sensor system. These approvals are the culmination of an exhaustive development program lead by Bombardier, teaming CMC’s product with Rockwell Collins Head-up Guidance Systems’ head-up display technology," said Greg Yeldon, president, Esterline CMC Electronics.

The SureSight CMA-2700 features next-generation digital image processing, including dynamic non-uniformity corrections for optimal image management. This system is compliant to ARINC 818 Avionics Digital Video Bus standards. Type certification included compliance to DO-178B (software) and DO-254 (firmware) to Design Assurance Level B, and to DO-160F for environmental hardware qualification.
