Becker Avionics installed its DVCS6100 digital audio management system on C130/L-382, the company said Thursday.

Becker replaced the C130 aircraft’s intercom system with a DVCS6100 package that included audio control units for the pilot, copilot, flight engineer, flight instructor and several other main cabin stations, the company said.

“This was an interesting and exciting project to tackle because of the size aircraft and mission scope. The customer came to us because of the reputation, features and well-known reliability of our DVCS product. This particular client joins the growing number of C-130 customers that have selected our DVCS6100 for their demanding mission profiles. Whether it’s for humanitarian relief, fire fighting or transporting cargo, to upgrading and extending the service life of these critical assets, our DVCS6100 helps ensure viable tactical airlift capability,” said Brett Gardner, sales and marketing director at Becker.
