Eaton will provide a variety of military aircraft products, including Arc-Alert circuit-protection technology, in four contracts worth $2 million recently awarded by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

“With these contracts, Eaton continues building on our relationship with the DLA as a key supplier of products that improve the safety, reliability and operational readiness of the nation’s military aircraft,” said Einar Johnson, vice president of Eaton’s Aerospace Group. “Eaton provides cost-effective technology upgrades and solutions for our military customers that help modernize existing fleets and keep aircraft in operation around the world.”

The company said Arc-Alert can replace outdated aircraft circuit protection to mitigate arcing damage and other hazards caused by electrical faults. The DLA contracts also include Eaton pressure switches, control assemblies and seal assemblies, all of which will be used on a variety of military aircraft platforms.
