CAE Sells Four Full Flight Simulators for $65 Million

Simulation and training services manufacturer CAE announced contract agreements totaling $63.4 million (C$65 million) for four full-flight simulators (FFS) Thursday.

CAE sold an Airbus A330 FFS to Singapore Airlines, a A320 FFS to Zhuhai Flight Training Center, an Embraer ERJ 190/195 to a private European customer and a FFS for the Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) of China medium transport aircraft to AVIC. All of the FFSs will include CAE’s Tropos-6000 visual system, which features an FAA Level D compliant visual system with liquid on silicon projectors.
