Frequentis received a contract from Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to supply the VoiceCommunication Systems (VCS) to be used at the Doha International Airport Main Fire Control Station.
The Frequentis pure3020X system is designed to meet the inherent high-reliability requirement of an air traffic control switching system. It is a prepackaged voice system that allowed Frequentis to deliver a system from stock – providing Qatar CAA with a cost effective system delivered in under two months, the company said.
Part of the VCS 3020X family, the pure3020X voice communication system is based on a modular, distributed and decentralized architecture that incorporates extensive redundancy. The pure3020X provides the modern user interface technology employing sunlight readable color touch panels, the company said.
