Service providers like SatCom Direct (SCD) can “limit” or “block” this from occurring. Example, CEO fires up his/her window based laptop; the operating system will look for any updates burning up expensive data rates. SCD can configure this not to happen. It is advised that you let the CEO know this is in place.
