BOC Aviation has selected Rockwell Collins avionics as baseline, including its WXR-2100 MultiScan Threat Detection System and GLU-925 Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR), for up to 30 new Airbus A320s. Deliveries of the aircraft begin this year.

The selected Rockwell Collins baseline avionics package also includes Automatic Direction Finder, Distance Measuring Equipment, High Speed Data Radio, Very High Frequency Transceiver and Omnidirectional Radio.

“This win signifies BOC Aviation’s commitment to provide advanced, proven avionics solutions for more efficient and reliable flight operations to its global customer base that spans over 40 airlines,” said TC Chan, vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific for Rockwell Collins. “We look forward to continuing our strong, trusted relationship with one of the world’s premier leasing companies.”

Rockwell Collins said its service centers in Singapore, China and Australia, as well as dozens of locations throughout the world, can cost-effectively support and service its avionics on BOC Aviation’s fleet.
