STG Aerospace has received a fleet-wide order of its SafTGlo photoluminescent (PL) floorpath marking system from U.K.-based Monarch Airlines.

The airline, based at London Luton Airport in the U.K., has ordered SafTGlo ColorMatch OC for its 30-strong fleet including Airbus A300, A321 and A330 aircraft. The over-carpet system will replace an existing PL product fitted across Monarch’s fleet. SafTGlo PL floorpath marking systems provide emergency exit guidance for up to 16 hours in darkness.

“SafTGlo ColorMatch OC was the ideal choice when we decided to replace our existing floorpath marking system. Safety is essential and SafTGlo offers a reliable, durable and cost-saving solution without compromising on design,” said Paul Godfrey, design services manager for Monarch Airlines.
