Global Aviation Technologies, of Wichita, Kan., was selected by Nextant Aerospace to provide wire harnesses for the Nextant 400XT aircraft upgrade program. The company said it is responsible for complete Nose-to-Tail wire harness manufacturing.

The 400XT from Nextant Aerospace is a remanufactured aircraft which includes three major upgrades to the Beechjet 400A Hawker 400XP. Upgrades include the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite, Williams FJ44-3AP Engines and aerodynamic enhancements including nacelles, pylons and an improved engine mounting configuration.

“This program will create manufacturing jobs for the local aviation community, as well as open the door to other opportunities within the aviation community. It also allows Global Aviation Technologies to do its part helping solidify our local economy,” said Candace Cottner, Global Aviation Technologies production manager.
