The Spanish cargo airline Gestair Cargo has selected Lido/RouteManual navigation charts from Lufthansa Systems, the companies announced Thursday.
The charts, which are generated from the Lido navigation database, include true-to-scale geographic information such as terrain features and rivers, according to Lufthansa. They include airport taxiway charts, approach and takeoff charts, and a worldwide route chart.
"Especially during take-off and landing, the pilots need concise and yet exact information. The navigation charts from Lufthansa Systems convinced us with those attributes. Additionally, they reduce the workload of our pilots because of their clear and easy-to-read design," said José Ramón Barriocanal, general manager, Aviation Business Unit from Gestair Group.
